Infrastructure & Networking

The unglamorous layer everything depends on. We design, build and maintain server, network and site infrastructure for environments where uptime matters.

Overview

Engineered for uptime

Techist designs, builds and maintains the infrastructure layer for Australian businesses: Windows servers, Hyper-V virtualisation, Azure workloads, structured networks with proper VLAN segmentation, firewalls, Wi-Fi and power protection.

Our background in high-uptime venue environments shows in how we build everything: monitored, documented, standardised and planned for replacement before it fails — not after.

Built to standard

Consistent, documented builds — every switch port, VLAN and server role accounted for.

Monitored end-to-end

Servers, network gear and UPS units monitored, with firmware kept current.

Planned lifecycle

Site audits and replacement planning so hardware is retired on schedule, not by surprise.

FAQ

Infrastructure questions

Do you take on one-off infrastructure projects?

Yes — server upgrades, network rebuilds, office relocations and site rollouts. Many project clients later move to a managed agreement, but it's not a requirement.

Can you audit our existing infrastructure?

Yes. A Techist site infrastructure audit documents your servers, network, Wi-Fi, power protection and firmware status, then gives you a prioritised, costed plan — useful whether or not we do the remediation.

Do you support hybrid environments?

Most of our clients run hybrid: on-premises servers and Hyper-V alongside Azure workloads and Microsoft 365. We design and manage across both.

Infrastructure due for a health check?

Book a site audit — a documented, prioritised view of your servers, network and replacement timeline.
